I didn't expect this person to understand me so well, and the fact we barely even talk. After 2-3 months of not catching up, today I finally saw him online. He began the conversation with a simple, "Hey". I must admit, he's one of the very few affable guy friends I ever come across. I mean, yes, there are 'many' out there, but when you really get to know them, you'll tend to see their true colors. So I guess, he's one of the unique few. He really left me speechless, during our conversation. Because instead of, "why are you telling me all this?/enough don't tell me.", he not only encouraged me, but also listened to me spill about how life's treating me. He somehow was able to read the invisible Handle With Care sign stuck to my forehead. I couldn't thank him enough, because he was rushing off to somewhere. Alright, enough of keeping yall in suspense, that guy is: Keith S.I chanced upon the TV guide of Life! yesterday, and under Channel U: 11.30pm was airing Shutter. That Thai horror flick. So instead of catching Survivor, my usual routine on Friday nights, yesterday was different. Daddy & I, had some father-daughter time. We spend that 2 hours watching Shutter together. The irony thing is that, I enjoy horror flicks. However, Shutter, never fails to get me all jittery and jumpy. I had my hands covering my eyes, whenever that 'dead lady' is on. So, to overcome my fear, I will catch it again. Any company? After the show, which was 1.30am, Daddy and I were 'arguing' on who to turn off the television. He so did that on purpose! Just because my face was ashen and so he could hurry back to the room, leave me to turn off the lights and whatnot. Interestingly enough, he was the one to do it. I hurried back to my room. Muhahahaha. It all comes down to: Fast and furious, not lil Ms Daisy. Got to run now. Have a good Saturday! Take care. |
